Early Learning Atelier is:
A Place of Discovery, Wonder, and Whole-Child LearningNestled in the heart of San Juan Capistrano, Early Learning Atelier is a Reggio-inspired learning environment where children are invited to explore, imagine, and grow through meaningful experiences across all domains of development. While creativity and artistic expression remain central to our philosophy, our atelier is also a studio of early literacy, numeracy, pre-reading, writing, and comprehension through personalized instruction—designed to nurture the whole child.
Rooted in the belief that learning is a journey of discovery, we offer thoughtfully crafted experiences that spark curiosity and deepen understanding. Through individualized instruction and ongoing developmental assessments, we tailor lessons to meet each child’s unique needs—supporting their growth in both foundational academic skills and creative expression.
Honoring the unique image of God in every child, we see each student as capable, creative, and full of potential. At Early Learning Atelier, children are truly seen, respected, and encouraged. We partner with them in their natural desire to learn—fostering essential life skills such as problem solving, collaboration, risk-taking, and joyful connection with materials, ideas, and one another.
Here, learning is not rushed—it is celebrated.

What our parents are saying:
- "From the moment we walked into the atelier, we knew this was a special place. The teachers truly partner with us, and we feel so confident knowing our child is in such a nurturing, creative environment." Deborah"Mrs. Valle has a warmth and presence that immediately makes children—and parents—feel at home. Every activity she plans is so thoughtful and engaging, and it's clear how much care she puts into creating meaningful experiences. Our child is always excited to go to school and feels truly seen and supported in her class." Heidi"Early Learning Atelier is the best thing to happen to our kids! From the moment they arrived, Mrs. Valle has their time planned out to meet their needs. Each one of my children felt special because even though they were together, Mrs. Valle had activities that was just for them. She managed to teach multiple levels at the same time! Our kids grew in confidence & became more focused students. We love Mrs.Valle!" Lisa
- "We have know Mrs. Valle from teaching our kids in a private school. Coming to her outside of school for additional support for reading helped our daughter catch up with her peers & gave her the confidence to read more challenging books. We cannot thank Mrs. Valle enough!" Laurie"Our son was having a hard time in Kindergarten with writing & knowing his alphabets. Mrs. Valle knew exactly how to approach our son to give him the skills he was needing to write without getting tired. She also taught in a fun way to alphabet sounds & letters which sparked his desire to want to read. She made each session special just for him because she understands how children learn differently. His teachers noticed a difference in the classroom which gave us peace of mind. Our son always looked forward to seeing Mrs. Valle, it was the best part of his day." Natalie"Early Learning Atelier has been a gift to our family. The environment is warm, inspiring, and filled with intention. Our child feels seen and respected, and we’ve been amazed at how much she’s grown—not just academically, but as a thinker and creator." Sonjia
Isabela Valle, M.A.
Developmental Specialist & Founder
With over 35 years of experience in Early Childhood Education and more than three decades of study in the Reggio Emilia approach, I’ve had the joy of walking alongside children, families, and educators on the path of meaningful, creative learning.
Throughout my career, I’ve served as a lead teacher, mentor, and studio teacher, with a passion for nurturing the whole child through hands-on exploration and expression. I’ve had the honor of presenting at professional workshops, guest lecturing in early childhood education courses, and guiding parents and educators in understanding child development through a Reggio-inspired lens.
As an art studio teacher in preschool settings, I’ve developed age-appropriate art curricula that encourage young children to explore materials deeply and express themselves fully. Each year, I’ve curated end-of-year art shows to celebrate the process and creativity of every child—a joyful culmination of their work and wonder.
At Early Learning Atelier, I bring together all that I’ve learned and loved over the years to create a space where children are seen, respected, and inspired to grow through curiosity, creativity, and connection.
